The Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park in Trentino is only 40 minutes from MyTime Hotels and offers various opportunities to spend a day with the family discovering particular plants and animals. The area includes Val Venegia, the Paneveggio Forest, a large portion of the Pale di San Martino Mountain Chain (considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco), the eastern end of the Lagorai chain and a part of the Lusia chain – Cima Bocche.

The large deer fence will allow you to admire the king of the woods with his family. In the proximity of the fence, thanks to the water, a gorge has formed where a suspended bridge in complete safety and with fall protection allows adults and children to see how nature changes over the years.
The Colbricón lakes
An easy itinerary on a semi-flat but fascinating path allows you to reach the Colbricón lakes from Passo Rolle in 40 minutes. Along the way you will be able to appreciate the morphological and geological differences between the two sides of the Paneveggio natural park: the dolomitic one and the Lagorai one, whose rocks are of volcanic origin.
If you wish, from the lakes you can continue along the CAI 348 trail and descend to San Martino di Castrozza, from where you can return to the Passo Rolle car park by bus.
The route will allow you to admire various species of alpine fauna and walk immersed in breathtaking forests, to then reach the lakes surrounded by junipers and blooming rhododendrons.
Val Venegia
Val Venegia with the Venegia and Venegiota huts is the ideal place for families with children who want to spend some time together immersed in the scents of nature. You can enjoy an incredible view of Monte Mulaz and Cimon della Pala, get to know the animals of the mountain, admire the colors of the forest and relax in the meadows.
For those who want, the way continues and one can reach the Baita Segantini and its lake.
